Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who Can Request Deletion
Anyone who has a Brasata account — as a customer or on behalf of a business — can request that the account be closed and the personal data associated with it be deleted. You do not need to sign in, and you do not need the app installed, to send this request.
2. How to Request Deletion
Send a deletion request to legal@brasata.com and include:
- the email address registered on the account;
- whether the account is a customer account, a business account, or both;
- the business name, if the request concerns a business account.
Do not send passwords or payment-card details. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it — this protects you against someone else deleting your account.
3. What Happens Next
We respond to your request within 30 days. When the request is carried out, the account is closed and the personal data held for it is deleted or anonymized, except for the records described in section 4.
4. What May Be Retained
Verification decisions, audit records, authority evidence, and billing records may be retained after account closure where that is needed for fraud prevention, disputes, or legal and accounting obligations. After deletion we may retain anonymized data for analytics and certain records required by law for up to 7 years. Our service providers also retain data under their own legal obligations and published retention practices. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
5. Prepaid Package Charges
Deleting an account does not by itself reverse or refund a settled prepaid business package charge. Package passes do not renew automatically, so deletion is not needed to stop a future package debit. Amounts already paid to Brasata are non-refundable and unused time is not prorated, except where required by applicable law. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy before requesting deletion of a business account.
6. Orders Placed With a Business
A customer pays the independent business directly, and that business is the seller of record for its own orders and reservations. Brasata takes no percentage commission or cut of the sale value. For a definitively successful customer transaction with a positive amount payable to the business, the fixed buyer service fee is XCG 1.50 or AWG 1.50; USD 0.84 or EUR 0.84, based on the transaction currency. A zero-value transaction cannot become chargeable from the fee alone. This is the complete buyer-visible gross fee: any approved fee tax is carved out within that amount, never added above it, and fee activation for an island remains blocked until its tax treatment is reviewed. The buyer pays the fee to the business as part of the direct customer-to-business payment; only after that definitive success does the business owe the matching fee to Brasata. A later cancellation, full or partial refund, reversal, or chargeback does not automatically cancel, reduce, or create a pro-rata credit for the matching fixed fee already incurred. Exception review is limited to duplicate fee processing, an incorrect Brasata fee charge, a proven Brasata technical error, or proof that the customer payment never became definitively successful. Any Brasata fee credit is exception-only after Brasata review; it is not automatic or guaranteed. It is separate from any payment-processor fee. Brasata never receives, holds, splits, or settles money owed to the business and is not the merchant of record for the business sale. The business keeps its own records under its own privacy terms. Deleting your Brasata account does not delete records a business holds about you — contact that business directly for those.
